The Air Scrubber is designed to turn most any room into a positive pressure safe room in seconds. Although its primary job is designed for protection against contaminants in the mail, it also provides a healthy environment as it removes 99.97% of particulates at .03 microns.

As the two pictures below show, most any room can become a positive pressure safe room in a matter of seconds providing a safe environment for your family or coworkers.

You simply seal off the doors, vents and or windows as recommended by the Department of Homeland Defense. Turn on our 5000V unit and attach the hose to the connector kit. The 5000V unit pulls air into and through HEPA and zeolite/carbon filters cleaning the air and creating a positive pressure environment. Forcing clean fresh air into the room acts a little like an air balloon, air can only escape keeping contaminates out. In addition the 5000V re-cleans the air in the room continuously.



Three-Stage Filtration:


    Stage 1:   Activated Carbon Pre-filter removes large particulates and odors.

    Stage 2:   HEPA filter is 99.97% efficient @ 0.3 microns. Removes dust, pollen, bacteria, animal dander, attached viruses, cigarette smoke, radon daughters and more.

    Stage 3:   V.O.C. filter removes hazardous chemicals that may off-gas from cleaners, paints, solvents, carpets, furniture and other items containing synthetic materials.

Pre-Filter Door (5000V Cart-Yellow)

The Pre-Filter door contains a washable aluminum screen that prevents large particulates from entering the cabinet. The Pre-Filter can be easily removed and steam cleaned as necessary.






HEPA is a filtration standard created by the U.S. Atomic Energy Commission. HEPA filter media is proven to be 99.97% efficient @ 0.3 microns (a micron is 1/1,000,000 a meter or 1/25,000th of an inch). Due to their extremely high efficiency, HEPA filters have become widely used in medical, electronic and industrial applications. HEPA filters are composed of a various sized borosilicate fibers, which are pressed together to form a netlike structure with opening large enough for air to pass through but too small for most particulates.

The filter media comes off a roll and is pleated for optimum surface area. Filament is bonded to the filter to provide structural support and even pleat spacing. After the pleating process, the filters are enclosed in protective screens and cast in food-grade plastisol at both ends for a 100% air seal. Each finished filter is tested for 99.97% efficiency with a laser particle counter.








Our V.O.C. cartridges capture contaminants the same way as a Carbon Blanket, but they use solid carbon and zeolite pellets which have a comparably larger surface area. This makes V.O.C. cartridges the filter of choice for situations where V.O.C. removal is a prime objective.






Like the Pre-Filters, the Carbon Inner Blanket is a form of charcoal, which has the ability to remove impurities from air, gas, and liquids. When various impurities come into contact with the activated carbon, the constituent molecules become trapped in tiny capillary passages on the surface of the carbon in a process called absorption. Due to differences in molecular structures, some impurities are more readily absorbed than others.
